Independent Midwifery

I am delighted to be back offering birth care again, offering evidence based care and information, while following your informed choices.

I can offer full homebirth care packages, ensuring complete continuity of carer, with unhurried appointments in your own home at times and dates to suit you and your family.

From 2018 until now, our planned homebirth rate is just over 95%. Our transfer in labour rate is the same as our caesarean rate at just under 5%.

Clients who choose an induction or a caesarean before labour can have me accompany them if they choose, though due to insurance restrictions, once in hospital, I can only be a support person, though I will of course do my best to ensure that your choices and decisions are followed.

I also offer Western Medical Acupuncture, which can be helpful for nausea and other pregnancy symptoms. Utilising The Meridian Clinic in Stotfold, I can also offer enhanced birth packages which include other wellness and relaxation sessions in addition to the usual excellent midwifery care given.
