Antenatal and/or postnatal care - £2500/3500
This is suitable for clients who would prefer to birth in hospital or a birth centre, or who know they will be having a caesarean section.
I can offer full antenatal care, postnatal care or both either alongside or instead of the NHS. This offers you some continuity of carer before and after your birth, allowing for visits in your own time and home, at times and dates to suit you. This also allows you immediate access to midwifery support throughout if you have questions or need care urgently.
During these visits we can cover birth preparation, run through emergency scenarios, your rights, and prepare a comprehensive birth plan with you. Postnatally this gives you support with feeding and adjusting to life with a newborn.
If you are planning a hospital birth, this includes loan of a maternity tens machine and pads.Full antenatal or postnatal care is £2500, or £3500 for both.

Freebirth Package - £1300
I am happy to support freebirth. While I would always recommend having a midwife with you, freebirth is a legal and popular choice. Planning a freebirth does not stop you accessing care at any point (even in labour) if you feel your decisions need to change pathway.
A freebirth package is a package of two postnatal visits and two antenatal visits, one earlier on to discuss your options and praticalities, and one at about 36/37 weeks to offer a check of baby’s position before labour. At these visits I can issue your maternity exemption certificate (FW8) and the MATB1 (after 20 weeks) which is needed to claim maternity benefits. This package also includes a copy of the Freebirth Stories book, which is an excellent read, and my own set of freebirth “maternity notes” which will hold information for you.
I will aim to visit you postnatally within 6 hours of your baby’s birth, where I will offer you the in depth NIPE examination, and offer you care as well. Immediately after this visit I will notify the birth for you.
Please Note: I cannot work with clients who choose not to notify the birth.
The second visit is on day 5, to offer you the newborn blood spot (heelprick test) for your baby and to offer postnatal care to you.
This package is £1300
